Hmmmmm.........

So, I was talking to a customer today and discussing life events and she was talking about how bad things are going for her right now. I was able to give her a little hope because I told her that if we never had any bad times, we could not fully appreciate the good ones!
After I said that, I realized, I have gone through (and am going through) a TON of stuff this year. From sinus infections to allergic reactions to all the other regular life events, and while I am sitting in the middle of all of this, I feel overwhelmed and beat down. However, I know that our precious heavenly Father is in control. There is a reason for everything! Even if it is just to make sure I fully appreciate the good things that are to come!!!!
That being said, I am still trying to recover from the Levaquin that the doctor gave me. I am still in very much pain and my feet are super swollen today as well as my eyelids. Yes, I have called the doctor again......On a positive note, my sinus headache is gone!!!!!! It was a trade off apparently. Honestly, I would rather have the headache back!
In my opinion I don't think that the FDA should have ever approved Levaquin. There is way too much risk with taking this medication. I wish I had known prior to taking it. I will certainly never take it again and will warn everyone I know not to take it either. We live and learn right?!?!
Hayden is doing well, we are going to Brennen's birthday party tomorrow at Main Event. Hayden has never gone bowling, so this should be fun! I will take cute pictures to post next week.
Tyler is still trying to get that tooth to pop through the gums! It is right there, just teasing us! He has his 6 month check-up and shots on Monday. I am glad Maw Maw is taking him as it breaks my heart when they stick those freakin 20 (really 4) needles in his little legs.

Well, its time for another relaxing weekend in the Davis house! Unfortunately Greg works most of the weekend so we wont see too much of him. Again, we have to go through the hard times to really appreciate the good ones. So one day, when we work a similar schedule, we will REALLY appreciate it!

Oh, and everyone, please welcome the newest addition to our family....Chloe (or Chlole, as Hayden says). She is a yellow lab, a little over a year old and VERY good with Hayden and Tyler. She was sleeping on the couch yesterday while Hayden sat on her and watched Blues Clues. She is very tolerant, unlike Syble who just avoids the boys. Chloe is settling in nicely. She is a very fast runner.......we found that out the hard way......long story for another time.
Here she is!

XOXO

Independence Day

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.
Psalm 33:12
No matter how many people try to take God out of our country, I am thinking He is here to stay! Almost every courtroom, piece of currency or governmental writing makes mention of God or our "Creator" or otherwise.
We are privileged enough to live in America, to have our freedom of speech and right to pursue happiness. These privileges are precious and should not be taken for granted. The freedom to express opinions regarding our government, the freedom to practice whatever religion you want without the threat of death or persecution.
Lets not forget the sacrifices that have been made by so many men and women who have given their lives for our freedom. I know we all hear this everywhere around this time of year. Truly though, take a moment and consider the thousands of people who have suffered, died or given up loved ones so that you and I can have the families that we have and do the job that we do and have the opinions that we have. As you are reading this men and women are fighting for what America stands for, which is freedom!! Take a moment and say a little prayer for these brave individuals that so graciously take our freedom and happiness on their shoulders every day.
Have a wonderful 4th!!!!!
We are going to see some fireworks and the movie, Cars!!!!!
